FINAL BUILDING LOAN REPORT in June 2007 Tower Chimes
WE ARE ALL PAID UP! A
final check of $3,793.14 was sent to the Cornerstone Fund on May 14, of which
$12 was interest.
Back on the first of May
we still owed $1,791. By the following week, the amount was down to $540.
In the week just prior to our Annual Meeting, with several more contributions,
we were able to send Cornerstone the last and final payment!
We had many, many people
who contributed to our success, going back as far as the year 2001. I know
that we all enjoy our new facilities, and we all appreciate the dedication of
those who pledged and made extra gifts to make it all happen.
I am happy our campaign
has been successful and am glad that I was able to contribute my share.
Marge Wild kept the figures all straight during our actual fund-raising
campaign, then Marv Waanders followed her, and finally Jim Lauer did his share
of keeping track of our progress.
The initial push was from Ina Newton with the sale of her house, but there were
several other large contributions along the way, plus many, many, many smaller
ones, which all together added up to our total success.
GOOD JOB, EVERYONE!
Betty Hall, CCCC Chairman, signing
off!
