Annual Report of the Fellowship Supper Club for the June
2007 Tower Chimes
The
last meeting of Fellowship Supper Club will be June 7, 2007. It will be a
pot-luck with hamburgers, hot dogs and buns provided by the club. Dinner
at 6:30 PM.
After 61 years it’s time
this club will be disbanded. The Nominating Committee could not come up
with any new officers and this years’ officers didn’t want to do it again. One
of the reasons given was driving at night.
We had a lengthy list of
concerns from the last dinner in May. Four members had fallen – Jim,
Chuck, Charles, and Ruth. Glad to hear they have all recovered with had
nothing broken. Jim Church is in a home in Rifle and doing much better
which helps Ophelia to feel better also. Tom is still recovering and Jenny
is back to normal color after all her dental surgery. Hope Betty Neff gets
over her hives – they can be so miserable. Kassie has a pretty new cane
she is using – we hope that helps. Two couples, Hamels and Prices, are
moving to the Commons. Good luck on the move and may it be enjoyable after
getting the job of moving done.
Hope everyone else enjoys
the summer.
