The Board of Trustees shall be responsible for all matters concerning the
financial aspects of the church, its property and its operation. To this
end the Board shall, each fall, prepare a budget for the ensuing year and
appoint a Stewardship Committee to raise the necessary funds. The
presiding officers of this committee shall be members of the Board of Trustees.
After receiving individual proposed budgets from all Boards and Committees, the
Trustees prepare and submit an annual budget to the Church Council. The
Council then refers an approved proposed budget to the congregation which votes
upon it during the Annual Meeting in January.
The Board of Trustees meets the 2nd
Sunday of
each month after worship service.

Annual Report of Board of Trustees May 23, 2010
1. STEWARDSHIP Once again the Trustees executed the Fall Stewardship
Campaign.
The pledges of $183,000 were dedicated in November,
2009.
2. COLUMBARIUM PROJECT The project was been completed and will be
installed in the patio area anticipating a Summer dedication.
3. LANDSCAPE An underground irrigation line was installed in the West
lawn. Grounds clean-up took place in the Spring and Fall.
The Memorial Garden has been enhanced.
4. INTERIOR MAINTENANCE
Many walls received a welcomed coat of paint by Linda Randolph. Of
particular note is the nursery.
A new forced-air heater was installed in the CE building. The old
heater was malfunctioning and a repair was not advised.
The 65-year-old boiler in the furnace room was replaced this Spring with
a high-tech hot water heater and domestic hot water storage unit which will be
much more efficient...definitely "green"...and save on utility bills.
