The Women's Fellowship provides women with the opportunity to become aware of needs of people throughout the world, in our local communities, and in our church. It seeks to provide opportunities to respond to these needs with Christian love. It seeks to provide supportive fellowship and the opportunity to nurture our faith through prayer and study and to affirm our individual gifts. All women within the church are invited and encouraged to participate in the Women's Fellowship. Meetings are generally held the third Thursday of each month. Election of new officers are held in April each year. 2009-2010 Members of Women's Fellowship Board are: President-Carolyn Ramsey
Women’s Fellowship meets the third Thursday of every month September-June. The speakers for our programs this year have all been representatives from organizations who provide help and support for people in our community. We hosted four luncheons this year. The Christmas luncheon has become very popular and is well attended. We hosted the Women’s Fellowship group from the Collbran in April, the World Friendship Day luncheon for Church Women United in May and a salad potluck luncheon for our own group in June. In spite of the small size of our group, we continue to support several mission projects. Money earned from the sale of books through our Bargain Books project allows us to contribute funds to local missions. Another ongoing mission is the sale of fairly traded coffee, tea, cocoa and chocolate bars through the UCC Coffee Project. We contribute to the Least Coin collection sponsored by Church Women United, and at Christmas collect socks and razors to donate to Catholic Outreach.
