GROUND BREAKING WAS JULY 27, 2003
We Officially Began!
On Sunday, July 27, we had a glorious
day for our official Groundbreaking. We worshipped together, and the
sermon was based on two Scripture passages used for the groundbreaking of
the C.E. building. Then we went outside, where we sang and prayed
together, using an adapted version of the liturgy also from the C.E.
building groundbreaking. Art Phipps, our oldest
member at age 95, turned over the first shovel of dirt... and Soren Downing,
our youngest member at age 2, turned over the second.

members and friends names and surrounded with their blessings, into the
footing trench.

And new rooms were great:
A rededication service was held Feb 8th...it was
a great celebration!
