Summer Sunday School
This month will find our
children examining sea shells, shopping for food for the homeless
shelter and learning about prayer. August 31st (Labor Day Weekend)
will be the last Summer Sunday School session. The fall session of
Sunday school begins Sunday, Sept. 7th.

This month we will be reading and discussing Little Heathens by
Mildred Armstrong Kalish. Copies will be available at Borders &

ANOTHER FELLOWSHIP PICNIC
August 7th (1st Tuesday) will be the next indoor summer picnic at 6
PM. Last time I planned for 60 and we had 59. After a lot of
favorable comments, this time we might have more. Meat will be
provided.
Please call either Sandy Fox at 256-9317 or Michelle at the church
office at 242-0298, and let us know if you will be attending. It
would be most appreciated. We want to have plenty of food. It helps
if you bring your own table service. I’m open for any suggestions.

We will be serving at Homeward Bound, Community Homeless Shelter, on
Wednesdays, August 13th & 27th.
