Pastoral Care Guide Class

Continuing on Wednesdays at 10:00 AM the class will be held in the chapel at FCUCC. The book The Indispensable Guide to Pastoral Care by Sharyl B. Peterson will be discussed. Books are available to purchase in the church office at a cost of $15, or a copy may be checked out of the church library.
Why would you want to participate in a discussion about pastoral care? You are not a pastor. The book leads you to explore several issues that are pertinent to the living of our everyday Christian lives.
The group will meet each Wednesday morning for 10 weeks. Each session will be approximately 1 1/2 hours long. If you want more information contact Chuck Holmgren at 245-5870, or catch him at church.

....meets Sat. June 21st at 9:00 AM at our NEW LOCATION: “Cups” Coffee House at Hospice on North 12th St (27 Road).
     This month we will be reading and discussing The Good Earth by Pearl Buck. Copies will be available at Borders & Books. To learn more about this group, call Nancy Price (523-0133).

MEN’S BREAKFAST       
...meets every Friday morning at 7:00 AM in Mayflower Hall. We collect donations that pay for the food. Each man may take a turn cooking. All men are welcome.

          We will be serving at Homeward Bound, Community Homeless Shelter, on Wednesdays June 11th & 25th.
