         Sunday School Assistants
The CE Board is responsible for providing an adult assistant every Sunday to be in the Sunday school classroom with our Sunday school teacher, Mary Wilkie. Lots of volunteers would mean that you would only need to volunteer once during the school year so please put your name on the sign-up sheet on the board just outside Pastor Wilkie’s office. If you have questions, talk with Creta Payne.

  FIRST SUNDAY NIGHT SPIRITUAL MOVIES
December 7th, 6:30 PM

       Once agan, we will meet to watch our show in Mayflower. Our movie will be SPRING, SUMMER, FALL, WINTER... and SPRING. This “elegantly simple, profound Buddhist fable” teaches that “life brings us lessons one season at a time... in (a child’s) lifelong journey of hope, despair, passion and redemption” you will be moved in the experience of this cinematically beautiful film.

AND...if you’d like to see one of the previously shown DVDs, including “Ground Hog Day,” “Peaceful Warrior,” “Pay It Forward,” “Noél,” or “One Night With the King,” those are now in the Library to check out.

Joys & Concerns
Some of our members feel uncomfortable getting up in church to share their joys and their concerns during our community prayer-time. To make it easier for people to share, beginning in January we will have “Prayer Request” cards in the pews. You will simply fill those in, and the ushers will collect them during Kids’ Time, and give them to the pastor for including in our prayer-time. Keep an eye out!

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

          An adult Bible study course is being planned to be held on Wednesday mornings beginning February 4 and extending for 10 weeks.  The course will be a Short Term Disciple Study, Invitation to the Old Testament and will be led by Pat Malone.   The course will be 90 minutes long beginning at 9 AM  each Wednesday.

          Those interested should contact Pat Malone (523-5782, pjmalone@q.com) or the church office (242-0298) to enroll.  There is also the possibility of another class on Monday evenings during the same time period, if enough adults are interested.

Fellowship Board will need volunteers to make Christmas Cookies for the Christmas Eve Service.

MEN’S BREAKFAST       
...meets every Friday morning at 7:00 AM in Mayflower Hall.

We collect donations that pay for the food. Each man may take a turn cooking.

 All men are welcome.
