                        MEN’S BREAKFAST   

...meets every Friday morning at 7:00 AM in Mayflower Hall. We collect donations that pay for the food. Each man may take a turn cooking. All men are welcome.

  Bagels & Books 

....meets at the Borders Books’ coffee shop Sat. October 13th at 9:00 AM [2nd Saturday this month only]  (in the mall on Hiway 6 & 50). This month we will be reading and discussing Hidden in Plain View by Raymon Dobard.  Copies will be available at Borders & Books. To learn more about this group, call Nancy Price (523-0133).

Don't forget our Finishing Touches "birthday fund" to help with those "little" and important extra touches that are not otherwise in our Annual Budget...a $1 for each year that we are glad to still be alive!

We will be serving at Homeward Bound, Community Homeless Shelter, on Wednesdays October 10th & 24th.  If you are willing to volunteer, please contact Chuck Holmgren (#245-5870). 

Trunk or Treat!

          Once again our church will be holding its annual Halloween “Trunk or Treat” event in our North Parking lot. For this event, costumes are encouraged for adults, plus bags of treats you’re willing to share with our church neighborhood children. Mark on your calendar now: October 31 (Wednesday), from 4PM until dark. Start getting your costume and decorations together. This is a growing event and one many of us are looking forward to with great anticipation. It is a wonderful time to see really cute little ones and help to keep the neighborhood safe for them. If you haven’t taken part before, plan on it this year. You will be glad that you did.
